A partir de nuestra investigación sobre la eficacia del psicoanálisis en Freud ubicamos la importancia de los efectos en el recorrido de un tratamiento analítico. En esta oportunidad nos interesa la perspectiva de que el encuentro con un analista, aún en el ámbito hospitalario, produce efectos terapéuticos que implican movimientos subjetivos, donde el alivio no es lo determinante sino más bien la apertura a un tratamiento posible. Es volver a dar al descubrimiento freudiano toda su importancia: ‘la de hacer hablar a la histérica’, la de ubicar con precisión que en el movimiento mismo de hablar constituye su deseo, ésa es la puerta por donde Freud entró, y que Lacan no duda en llamar “su testimonio ético”.
