El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo describir la construcción de un Inventario de Estilos de Comunicación para madres y maestros de niños que viven y estudian en contextos de pobreza. A través de entrevistas y una extensa búsqueda bibliográfica se construyeron una serie de ítems relevantes que fueron administrados a jueces expertos sobre Comunicación. Se asignaron valores a los ítems y a los sujetos de acuerdo al tipo de respuesta. Como resultado se obtuvieron 30 ítems distribuidos en tres dimensiones: Comunicación Abierta, Evasiva y Cerrada. A los fines de comparar los estilos de comunicación entre madres y maestros se elaboraron tres inventarios con distintas consignas. El primero fue pensado a fin que las madres expresen sobre el estilo que creen utilizar al comunicarse con sus hijos. El segundo y el tercero fueron pensados para que los maestros expresen cómo creen que deberían comunicarse las madres y, en el otro, cómo creen que son las madres al comunicarse con sus hijos. La construcción de este instrumento puede considerarse relevante ya que su finalidad permite comprender problemáticas familiares que interfieren en la competencia social del niño en el ámbito educativo. Palabras clave Instrumento Comunicación Escuela Familia ABSTRACT INVENTORY DEVELOPTMENT IN REGARDS TO BELIVEFS IN CUMMUNICATION STYLES FOR MOTHERS AND TEACHERS OF CHILDREN IN RISK SITUACIONS DUE TO POVERTY The goal of this work is to describe the development of an inventory of communication styles for mothers and teachers that live and study in a context of poverty. Through interviews and intense bibliography research a series of relevant items were developed, which were later given to expert judges in communication. According to the type of answers, values and subjects were assigned. As a result, 30 items were obtained distributed in three dimensions: Open, Evasive and Close Communication. Three inventories with different instructions were developed in order to compare the communication styles between mothers and teachers. The first was thought for the mothers to express which communication style they think use to communicate with their Childs. The second and the third were thought for teachers to express how the think that the mothers should communicate and, in the other, how they think that mothers are when communicating with their Childs. The development of this instrument could be consider relevant as its purpose allows to understand family problems that interfere in the social aspect of the children in the educational stage.
