Se presentan resultados de un estudio indagatorio de comportamientos adictivos en estudiantes universitarios. Instrumento: Test de Comportamientos Adictivos, TCA, (Vavassori, 2002) compuesto por una Escala de Autoevaluación (escala estandarizada de 24 ítems) y una Entrevista Semiestructurada (construida en base a los 24 ítems de la Escala de Autoevaluación). Muestra: no aleatoria, accidental; estudiantes de 3° a 5° año de distintas carreras universitarias. De la aplicación del test se obtuvieron dos muestras: Muestra 1 (390 alumnos) que contestó la Escala de Autoevaluación; Muestra 2 (49 alumnos) que contestó el Test en su totalidad. Muestra 1: En función del puntaje obtenido en el TCA, el 3,8% se ubicó en el Grupo 1 (presentaba Comportamiento Adictivo) y el 29% en el Grupo 2 (Riesgo de Comportamiento Adictivo). En su mayoría subrayaron los comportamientos de fumar y comer en primer lugar, luego el beber, y el uso de Internet que posee una frecuencia mínima, pero se presenta con constancia. Muestra 2: El 40,8% se ubicó en el Grupo 2 (Riesgo de Comportamiento Adictivo); se repiten los comportamientos de comer y fumar como problemáticos. Se analizan los datos, se establecen comparaciones. Palabras clave Comportamientos Adictivos Estudiantes Universitarios ABSTRACT RESULTS OF A STUDY ON ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS In this work, the results of an exploratory study concerning addictive behavior of university students are put forward. The instrument used was the Test of Addictive Behavior, (Vavassori, 2002) including a Self-evaluation Scale (24-item standardized scale) and a Semi-structured Interview (based on the 24 items of the Self-evaluation Scale). The sample was accidental, nonrandomized made up of students from 3rd to 5th year of university undergraduate programs. The application of the test resulted in two samples. With respect to Sample 1 -made up of the 390 subjects who answered the Self-Evaluation Scale, and according to the score obtained in the test, 3.8% met the addictive behavior criterion (Group 1) and 29% met the criterion of risk of addictive behavior (Group 2). Most of the subjects admitted as problematic smoking and eating behaviors in the first place, then drinking habits and the use of the Internet with a low but constant frequency. In Sample 2 (49 students who completed all the test) 40,8% met the criterion of risk of addictive behavior (Group 2) with the same eating and smoking behaviors as problematic.
