Este estudio tiene como objetivo describir las representaciones sobre salud/enfermedad de un grupo de adolescentes usuarios del primer nivel de atención del Municipio de Morón. Se trata de una estrategia metodológica cualitativa, realizada por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas. Entre las representaciones surgió una categoría central: la responsabilidad individual en la adquisición de alguna fase del proceso salud/enfermedad. En muchas entrevistas esta posición se esboza haciendo referencia a elecciones conscientes y propias en la implementación de conductas y actitudes. Esta sensación de responsabilidad individual, se visualiza, como entramada, en el nivel microsocial, a aspectos superyoicos normativos, propios del proceso adolescente, tales como que para estar sano hay que hacer “lo que se debe”. La construcción de preceptos superyoicos, no escapa a las condiciones sociales de producción de dichos valores y es ahí donde se indaga la dimensión contextual del problema: Discursos sociales sobre la salud enfermedad en la predominancia de una ausencia del Estado y la desresponsabilización social del proceso salud/enfermedad forman parte del contexto de producción subjetiva. Políticas de salud neoliberales plantearon congruencia con dicha construcción subjetiva ya que apelaron a esto para desdibujar la responsabilidad social que, desde otros modelos de ciudadanía, le correspondería al Estado como política redistributiva. Palabras clave Adolescencia Representación Salud Enfermedad ABSTRACT REPRESENTATIONS OF HEALTH AND ILLNESS OF ADOLESCENT USERS OF THE FIRST LEVEL OF THE HEALTH CARE SERVICE IN THE DISTRICT OF MORÓN The present paper aims at describing the representations of health and illness in a group of adolescent users of the first level of the health care service in the district of Morón. It is about a qualitative methodological strategy conducted through partly-structured interviews. Among these representations a central category came up: the individual responsibility in the acquisition of any phase in the health / illness process. In many of the interviews this position is expressed by reference to conscious choices in the implementation of behavioral patterns and attitudes. At a micro-social level, this feeling of individual responsibility is visualized as interwoven with the normative superego aspects, which are typically characteristic of the process of adolescence, such as the assumption that in order to be healthy you need to do “what is right”. Since the construction of superego precepts cannot be separated from existent social conditions, it is at this point where the contextual dimension of the problem is explored: in the framework of an absent State, where the lack of social responsibility is a current trend in health care services, a social dialectic about the health / illness process is part of the context of subjective production.
