La práctica profesional de la Musicoterapia antecede a la disciplina y por lo tanto a la formación disciplinar. Es así, que estamos ante un rol profesional que, en su movimiento instituyente, está produciendo cambios en la concepción de salud y educación en numerosas instituciones, y que va a aportar recursos que eviten o mitiguen el sufrimiento emocional de sujetos en situaciones críticas. La importancia de investigar acerca del nacimiento y desarrollo de una práctica, los diversos campos teóricos que la sustentan, los avatares políticos, económicos y sociales que influyen en su campo conceptual, su inserción como práctica y el espacio institucional en que se va abriendo camino; orientan las prácticas y teorizaciones actuales y futuras, así como también la formación de grado y post-grado de los profesionales que se desempeñen en ella. A tal fin se procederá al relevamiento bibliográfico acerca de hechos históricos, estatutos fundacionales e influencia de diversas teorías. Se investigará en documentos de instituciones de formación, de salud y educación. Asimismo se realizarán entrevistas a informantes claves, y cuestionarios a expertos y pioneros de la disciplina en el país. The professional practice of Music Therapy precedes the discipline and therefore, disciplinary training. Thus, we are faced with a professional role that, in its constituent movement, is producing changes in the conception of health and education in numerous institutions and is going to contribute resources that avoid or mitigate the emotional suffering of subjects in critical situations. Investigating the birth and development of a practice, the various theoretical fields that sustain it, the political, economic and social changes that influence its conceptual field, its insertion as a practice and the institutional space in which it is developing, is important to guide present and future practice and theorization, as well as the graduate and post graduate training of professionals in the field. To that end, a bibliographic review will be undertaken with respect to the historical facts, foundational statutes, and the influence of diverse theories. Research will be done on documents of training, health, and educational institutions. Interviews will also be conducted of key informants and experts and pioneers in the discipline in the country will be consulted via questionaires.
