El trabajo parte de la constatación trágica y moderna de la presencia de los cadáveres animados, espectros vengativos o caricaturas en nuestra cotidianidad. Desde la tragedia clásica hasta cine de horror -de la Antígona de Sófocles a La noche de los muertos vivientes de Romero-, el fenómeno del retorno de muertos físicamente ha ocupado las páginas de la filosofía y el psicoanálisis. ¿Por qué vuelven los muertos? Ubicados entre-dos-muertes, la pregunta es respondida alternativamente por Hegel respecto a Cesar, Marx en relación a Luis Bonaparte, Freud con el padre primordial, Lacan con Antígona, y Zizek con el Padre-delGoce. Intrigados por las causas del retorno y sorprendidos por su forma de retornar (con repeticiones, automatismos, prohibiciones, etc.) ofrecen modos de pensar seriamente las deudas con los muertos, la historia y la mitología popular. Aunque no existan, aún así retornan, dejando abierta la cuestión acerca de si debemos enterrarlos o dejar abiertas sus tumbas. FROM HEGEL TO ŽIŽEK The work begins with the remark of the tragic and modern presence of animated corpses, vengeful ghosts or cartoons in our daily life. From classic tragedy to horror films -from Sophocles’ Antigone to The Night of the Living Dead of Romero-, the return of those who are physically dead has occupied pages of philosophy and psychoanalysis. Why return the dead? Located between-twodeaths, the question is answered alternatively by Hegel in regards to Cesar, Marx in relation to Louis Bonaparte, Freud with the primal father, Lacan with Antigone and Zizek with the Father-of-Jouissance. All intrigued by the causes and surprised by the shape of this return (with repeats, automatic, prohibitions, etc.), they offer ways to think seriously about the debts with the dead, the History and the popular mythology.
