El trabajo se propone subrayar la articulación que existe entre lo que se presenta como contingente, accidental o traumático en las neurosis y las elecciones a las que se ve llevado el ser hablante, procurando ubicar tal articulación respecto de los fines de la cura analítica. Para ello se toman como ejes convergentes los caminos de formación de síntoma freudianos, la redefinición lacaniana del síntoma como letra, el trauma, y la articulación entre el goce que se le impone al sujeto y la identificación al síntoma al final de la cura. Palabras clave Elecciones Trauma Síntoma Cura ABSTRACT WHAT´S CHOSEN AND WHAT´S NOT CHOSEN IN THE ANALITITC CURE This work aims at underlining the articulation between what is presented as contingent, accidental or traumatic in neurosis and the choices the speaking being is driven to. Later we place such articulation in relation to the objectives of the analytical cure. Thus, we take as the convergent central themes the paths of Freudian symptom´s building, the Lacanian redefinition of symptom as letter, the trauma, and the articulation between the jouissance that is imposed upon the subject and the identification at the symptom at the end of the cure.
