A partir de la lectura e investigación que tuvo como eje el texto de Lo ominoso de Freud intentaremos pensar el lugar de lo siniestro en la clínica psicoanalítica y su relación con el esquema óptico planteado por Lacan, para tal motivo apelaremos al uso de la clínica y de la literatura, con un recorrido del cuento de Edgard Allan Poe “Corazón delator”. Freud intentando ir mas allá de la ecuación ominoso = no familiar, toma la palabra en alemán “HeimlichUnheimlich” arribando a la premisa que “Unheimlich” (ominoso) es una variedad de “Heimlich” (familiar). ¿Cómo lo familiar puede devenir terrorífico?, ¿cuándo podríamos ubicar el instante de lo siniestro? From the reading and research that revolved around the text The Uncanny by Freud, we will try to analyze the role of the sinister in psychoanalytic clinical practice and its connection with the optical scheme proposed by Lacan. To that end, we will resort to the use of clinical practice and literature, including a trip down Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart. Freud, in an attempt to go beyond the equation uncanny = not familiar, takes the German words “Heimlich- Unheimlich” arriving at the conclusion that “Unheimlich” (uncanny) is a variety of the word “Heimlich” (familiar).
