La preocupación de Freud por la génesis de la angustia, sus relaciones con la formación de síntomas y con la etiología de las neurosis aparece muy tempranamente en su obra. De allí se desprende un verdadero problema epistemológico, en tanto el concepto de angustia atañe a la construcción de su doctrina, pero también un problema terapéutico, pues -como lo demuestra magistralmente el análisis del caso Juanito-, la misma se entrama de manera íntima con la dirección de la cura. ¿Cuál es el origen de la angustia?, ¿qué “sustancia” le da cuerpo?, ¿qué papel diferencial tiene en las diferentes neurosis?, ¿cuáles son los vínculos que pueden establecerse entre ella y la represión, en el caso de los psiconeuróticos? Tales son los interrogantes que se plantea Freud en diferentes momentos de su recorrido, y que nos llevan a preguntarnos por la naturaleza del real que, en su texto, concierne a la angustia. El objetivo del presente trabajo es seguir el derrotero epistémico realizado por el maestro vienés con respecto a la esencia de la angustia, a fin de establecer las constantes y variables que surgen en él en torno a este tema de indudable valor clínico y teórico Palabras clave Angustia Real biológico Filogenia ABSTRACT ABOUT FREUDIAN ANGUISH Freud concern about the roots of anguish, its links with the building of symptoms and with the origin of neurosis, appears from his earliest works. Owing to this, it emerges a true epistemological problem, as the concept of anguish refers to the construction of his doctrine, but also to a therapeutic issue. That is why (as the analysis of the case known as “Little Hans” clearly demonstrates) this doctrine is intimately connected with the direction of the cure. Which is the origin of anguish’s? Which is its main substance? What differential role has it in the various types of neurosis? Which are the links between anguish and repression in psycho neurosis? These are the questions that Freud poses along the different moments of his work. These questions are also the reasons that leads us to deal with the topic of the nature of the real in the context of those works of Freud referring to anguish. The aim of this paper is to follow the epistemological course choose by the Viennese Master regarding to the essence of anguish, thus trying to find the constants and variables that appears in relation to this subject.
