En el presente trabajo se examina la revisión que realiza Lacan, en el Seminario 22, de las tres modalidades de identificación propuestas por Freud. Especialmente, se aborda el concepto de identificación primaria y su relación con el Nombre del Padre. Se indagan algunas referencias que permiten especificar la función paterna en el anudamiento borromeo.
