En esta ponencia realizo una identificación de los elementos que se juegan en la construcción de la elección de una carrera universitaria de un grupo de jóvenes de una pequeña localidad del sur cordobés cuyo eje gira en torno a elegir una carrera que asegure, a futuro, la vuelta al pueblo; poniéndolos en tensión con el discurso de otros jóvenes cuya preocupación se centra en la elección de carreras cortas y con rápida salida laboral. Tal interés se inscribe, en la temática del Programa de Investigación del cual formo parte, dedicado a indagar sobre el ingreso a la universidad, la relación con el conocimiento y la construcción de subjetividades; y en el tema que es objeto de investigación en mi proyecto de beca CONICET. Presento, además, algunos lineamientos que explican porque los jóvenes de esta localidad tienen una referencia permanente con el pueblo y cómo esto se juega a la hora de “seguir estudiando” En un país en donde las migraciones a la ciudad en busca de oferta laboral, y la prevalencia del mercado y lo individual por sobre lo colectivo, parecen ser realidades comunes y generalizables “el caso de un pueblo”, parece ser una referencia para el contraste. In this paper conducted an identification of the elements at play in the construction of the choice of a university of a group of young people in a small town in southern Cordoba whose axis revolves around choosing a career that ensures to the future, back to town, putting them in tension with the discourse of other young people whose concern is the choice of quick sprints and working out.
