El presente trabajo se inscribe en el Proyecto de Investigación: “El psicólogo en el contexto escolar: relaciones entre formación y práctica profesional”. (Programa de Incentivos, UNLP, 2010-2011). La investigación apunta a caracterizar las prácticas profesionales de los psicólogos en ese ámbito identificando los tipos de conocimientos y saberes que se juegan en esas prácticas, así como las instancias del desarrollo profesional en las que se construyeron. El proyecto contempla el análisis del actual Plan de estudios de la Licenciatura en Psicología de la UNLP a la luz de las competencias e incumbencias del psicólogo en el campo educativo. En esta presentación se toma como material de análisis las respuestas obtenidas a través de una encuesta administrada a un grupo de psicólogos que participaran de un taller organizado por el Colegio de Psicólogos, distrito XI, en el año 2009 dirigido a psicólogos que se desempeñan en el ámbito educativo o con interés de acceder a él, cuyo propósito es abrir sentidos a las intervenciones y prácticas. Los resultados obtenidos posibilitan la reflexión en torno al desarrollo profesional del psicólogo en el campo educativo. Palabras clave Psicólogo Escolar Formación Práctica ABSTRACT THE PSYCHOLOGIST IN THE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT: FORMATION AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES The present report registers in the investigation project called: The Psychologist in the educational context: the relations between formation and professional practices. Incentives Program, UNLP, 2010-2011. The investigation points to characterize the psychologist’s professional practices in that field identifying the types of knowledge that are involved in those practices, as well as the professional development instances in which they were built. The project contemplates the analysis of the current study’s Plan of the Degree in Psychology at the UNLP by the light of competences and psychologist’s incumbencies needed in the educational field. In this presentation the analyzed material is taken from the survey answers obtained from a group of psychologists that had participated of a workshop organized by the Psychologists Association, XI District, in 2009. That activity aimed at psychologists that work in the educational field or who were interested in it, intending to open senses for interventions and practices. The obtained results facilitate the reflection on the psychologist’s professional development in the educational field. Key words Psychologist Educational Formation Practices
