La subjetividad del alumno repitiente de la educación secundaria, es la que buscamos esclarecer por medio de esta investigación. Este se encuentra al borde de la deserción escolar y enfrenta una serie de dificultades diferentes a las que tienen los otros alumnos que no repiten. Foucault señala que una de las técnicas que utilizan los hombres para entenderse a si mismos es la que se conoce bajo el nombre de tecnologías del yo e implica un determinado aprendizaje, no solo para lograr ciertas habilidades sino también para adquirir actitudes dirigidas sobre si mismo. Analizar esas formas de actividad sobre si mismo que tendría el alumno repitiente, permitió explorar bajo que leyes morales este sujeto se somete y al hacerlo, entabla cierta relación con el mismo y sus estudios. Por otro lado, enfrenta los modos de objetivación del sistema educativo que utiliza para dividir a los alumnos entre los que “repiten” y los que son “promovidos”, junto a las prácticas familiares relacionadas que le generan un modo de subjetivación al otorgarle una determinada posición. Todo esto se integra a esa forma de definir el mundo que tiene el alumno repitiente de la educación secundaria. He is on the verge of dropping out of school and confronts a number of challenges different from those students who do not repeat. Foucault says that one of the techniques used by men to understand themselves is: the technologies of the self and involves a certain learning, not only to achieve certain skills but also to acquire attitudes directed upon itself. Analyze these forms of activity on him that would have the student repeating, allowed to explore under what moral laws this subject is submitted and in doing so, knowing that generates relationship with himself and his studies. On the other hand, faces the modes of objectification of the educational system used to divide students between the “repeat” and are “promoted” as related family practices that create a mode of subjection to give a certain position.
