El presente trabajo forma parte de los resultados del proyecto UBACyT 2008-2010 P431 Variables jurídicas en la práctica psicológica: sistematización de cuestiones éticas, clínicas y deontológicas a través de un estudio exploratorio descriptivo. Uno de los focos de interés de la investigación es la práctica de confección de informes para el ámbito jurídico y la dilematización ética que ella comporta. A partir del abordaje de esta práctica, habitual y frecuente en contextos judiciales, se analizan algunas cuestiones inherentes a la práctica del psicólogo en entrecruzamiento con variables jurídicas, los problemas éticos más frecuentes que esto suscita y la cuestión de la responsabilidad profesional en la confección de informes.
