La idea de este trabajo es ubicar en un caso clínico la posición en la que llega a la consulta una niña de 6 años para luego plantear que es por medio de la operatoria del deseo del analista que se produce en el tratamiento analítico mismo la constitución subjetiva. La hipótesis que orienta este trabajo está sostenida en entender que en las “Dos notas sobre el niño” Lacan no define dos estructuras clínicas cuando postula dos posiciones alternativas para ubicar a un niño sino que habla de dos modalidades diferentes de respuesta: “el síntoma del niño está en posición de responder a lo que hay de sintomático en la estructura familiar”. Entonces, el síntoma del niño es respuesta, ya sea a la articulación de la pareja o bien a la subjetividad de la madre.
