Problema: “¿Cuál es el perfil del paciente psiquiátrico internado en Comunidad Terapéutica de Palermo en el año 2008?” Objetivos. Determinar el promedio de edad de los pacientes y la proporción de cada uno de los sexos. Estimar el porcentaje de los diagnósticos psiquiátricos que presentan. Estimar el promedio de días de internación. Establecer los mayores porcentajes de diagnóstico de enfermedades clínicas asociadas. Población y muestra. Población: todos los pacientes psiquiátricos internados en Comunidad Terapéutica de Palermo durante el año 2008. El marco muestral, serán todos los pacientes anotados en el listado de ingresos del año 2008. La muestra es probabilística aleatoria simple. Se usará el procedimiento aleatorio de “tabla de números aleatorios”, hasta alcanzar número total de la muestra. Reparos éticos: se analizarán los casos de pacientes ingresados por médicos de guardia de la institución, cursando la especialidad en psiquiatría, con orden de internación psiquiátrica. El paciente o familiar firmó un consentimiento por el cual declara aceptar las disposiciones de atención, tratamiento y estudio de pacientes de acuerdo a la modalidad institucional. Los elementos (pacientes) se encuentran numerados. Las variables son: Sexo, EjeI del DSM-IV, Eje 3, Fármacos Antipsicóticos, Estabilizadores, Benzodiacepinas, Antidepresivos, Obra social, Prepago, Días de internación.
