El desarrollo del proyecto que integramos, AU-017-”Habilidades retóricas y pensamiento crítico en la argumentación” ha permitido detectar los problemas que enfrenta el ingresante en la UBA en dos prácticas fundamentales a lo largo de una carrera universitaria: leer y escribir; es decir, comprender y poseer la capacidad de sostener puntos de vista. Es por eso, que la reflexión lingüística está entre nuestros intereses. En general, en un enunciado hallamos un contenido que conforma el objeto de la enunciación -explícito- y otro que aparece a través de lo enunciado -implícito. Asimismo, se distinguen entre los implícitos dos grandes ejes: presupuesto y sobrentendido. El primero se halla inscripto en la estructura lingüística, y es posible someterlo a la forma negativa. En cambio, el sobrentendido surge a partir de las competencias y el contexto. El hallazgo de implícitos es más arduo y contingente que el de explícitos, puesto que obliga a activar mecanismos de decodificación y estimular la calidad de las hipótesis que se formulan para su interpretación. En la interacción comunicativa el rol del implícito contribuye a la captación de la expresión marcada y al encadenamiento interpretativo. De allí su importancia. Resumen en Inglés The development of the project AU-017, "Rhetoric skills and critical thinking in reasoning" has made it possible to detect the problems faced by UBA incoming students in two fundamental university activities: reading and writing --i.e., comprehending and having the skill to defend an opinion. This is the reason why linguistic analysis is of interest to us. In general, an enunciation has a content that conforms to the object of what is declared –explicit- and another one that appears through what is enunciated –implicit-. Furthermore, two important axis can be distinguished within the implicit: the presupposed and the understood. The former is inscribed in the linguistic structure and can be subject to the null hypothesis. The latter is a result of alternative interpretations and their context. Finding implicit enunciations is harder than finding explicit ones because it forces to activate decoding mechanisms and stimulate the quality of the hypotheses that are postulated for its interpretation. In the communicative interaction, the role of the implicit contributes to the apprehension of the targeted expression and the interpretative chain, thereby its importance.
