Partiendo del fenómeno muchas veces observado, según el cual se persiste en la ingesta de tóxicos, aún en casos en los que ésta no brinda más que sufrimiento, se indaga la lógica subyacente a esta formación clínica. Se aborda así la aparente oposición entre la conducta del “adicto" y el potencial apego a los ideales institucionales que suele presentarse en la “recuperación”. De tal análisis surge más una continuidad que una oposición, caracterizada por la pasión de sostenimiento de un horizonte de Verdad y Goce pleno. El concepto Freudiano de “pulsión de muerte”, en las elaboraciones de Melanie Klein, lleva a concebir la “figura de los padres combinados” como una forma de ese horizonte. El apego a los ideales institucionales antes referido, mantiene en lo esencial esa lógica. La ubicación que Lacan realiza de la verdad en la estructura – en comunidad topológica con el goce – brinda una fundamental orientación en el tratamiento de las adicciones. Esa ubicación revela a la verdad como inasible - al igual que lo hace la articulación del espacio transicional en los trabajos de Winnicott - oradando el horizonte de su plenitud - siempre ficticia - al igual que el del goce. Considering such analysis it’s likely to think about continuity more than an opposition, characterized by the passion of maintenance of a horizon of Truth and full Enjoyment. The Freudian concept of “death instinct”, in the elaborations of Melanie Klein, takes to conceive the “combined parent-figure” like a form of that horizon. The attachment to the institutional ideals before referred, preserves the essence of that logic. The location that Lacan carries out of the Truth in the structure-in topologic community with the enjoyment- offers a fundamental orientation in the treatment of the addictions. That position reveals the Truth as unholdable - the same as the articulation of the transitional space makes in Winnicott´s works – going through the horizon of its fullness, always fictitious.
