Resumen. Freud y la eficacia del análisis. Desacuerdo entre Ferenczi y Freud. Partimos de la hipótesis de que Freud tuvo un gran interés por la eficacia del análisis. Este trabajo, se centrará, primero, en la buena recepción que tuvo Freud de los aportes que Ferenczi brindó a la técnica psicoanalítica. La pregunta a formular sería: ¿Cuál es el punto donde Freud toma estas contribuciones con entusiasmo? Es central en el historial del hombre de los lobos, cómo la aplicación de fijar un término al análisis, hace que Freud asevere que fue el medio ante el cual el paciente cedió su resistencia, y brindó el material que posibilitó la cancelación de los síntomas. Artificio que Ferenczi propone con el fin de acelerar la emergencia del material inconsciente, lo cual llama ‘técnica activa’. La eficacia de esta técnica residiría en conseguir los resultados esperados con mayor prontitud. La otra pregunta sería: ¿En qué punto de su elaboración Freud se separa radicalmente de la técnica activa de Ferenczi y por qué? Llegando a situar al final de su enseñanza que no se trata de la abreviación como meta del análisis, sino de su profundización, desprendiéndose de ello otra concepción de la eficacia. This work, will be centered, first, in Freud´s good reception of Ferenczi contributions to the psychoanalytical technique. Our question would be: Which is the point where Freud takes these contributions with enthusiasm? It is central in the record of the man of the wolves, how the application of fixing a term to the analysis, artifice that Ferenczi proposes with the purpose of accelerating the emergency of the unconscious material, that which calls 'active technique'. The effectiveness of this technique would reside in getting the prospective results with more readiness. The other question would be: In what point of his elaboration does Freud refuses the active technique of Ferenczi radically and why? He says at the end of his teaching that is not the abbreviation like goal of the analysis, but its profundization, changing in this way the conception of the effectiveness.
