En esta breve instancia se tratará de analizar, uno de los capítulos, que como “avance de Tesis”, se realiza a los efectos de complementar la Maestría en Psicología Educacional. El tema a investigar; “El Significado del Trabajo en Adultos Mayores Médicos en momentos de tener que Jubilarse”, se encuentra delimitado en el Área de O.V. en Contextos Educativos y Laborales, bajo la Dirección de la Prof. Diana Aisenson. Sus antecedentes se asientan en un proyecto mayor elaborado por la Cátedra, (Facultad de Psicología UBA), con la Autoría de: Aisenson; Figari; Monedero y Otros; cuya publicación consta en el VI Anuario de Investigación (1998 UBA Fac. de Psicología).Su abordaje es Exploratorio, con Diseño Cualitativo, utilizándose en la Recolección de Datos técnicas de Entrevistas y Observaciones en actividades generadas por la Asociación de Médicos Municipales. En este espacio, serán indagados los efectos que, pudieran haberse producido en el desarrollo de sus carreras al tener que atenerse obligatoriamente a la jubilación, en el hospital público (GCBA), con el interrogante de saber si la misma indica que ha llegado el fin de sus vocaciones. Resumen en Inglés In the first place, this is to analyse briefly , one of the chapters that this “Avance of Thesis”, contains. This should be carried out to the perfection for the Degree in Educational Psychology. The subject of this is: "What work means in Elderly Adult Doctors, at the time of having to retire": this is found in the Area of Occupation Guidance in Educational and Working, under the guidance of the Professor Diana Aisenson. Her background knowledge is based on a project much more elaborated for the Lecture of psychology, (UBA) with the management of Aisenson, Figari, Monedero and Others: whose publication was shown in the 6th Yearly Investigation Magazine. (1998 UBA Univers. of Psycology). It is based on a Boarding Investigation with a Qualitative Design, in where a Colector of Information where used for Techiques for interviews and observation in general activities given by the Association of Municipal Doctors. The object, in this area, is for finding out about the effects produced when the careers were chosen as "ocupations", in the moments when having to be obliged to rely on retirement in the Public Hospital, and if those effects could be a fundamental importance of their vocations.
