Tanto en el Cine como en las Series de TV, es posible concebir la noción de héroe y diferenciarla de la de superhéroe: allí donde el superhéroe aparece equiparado al falo -encarnando la potencia misma y ocultando cualquier marca que delate algo del orden de la propia castración-, la figura del héroe no sólo requiere de la falta para constituirse como tal, sino también la exige como presencia a lo largo de toda la aventura heroica del personaje. La hipótesis principal que orienta el trabajo sostiene que la anterior condición permite reducir las distancias entre el espectador y el héroe -cuyas capacidades y limitaciones se ajustan a las de cualquier ser humano-, propiciando el terreno para la emergencia de la identificación del público con la figura del héroe. Así, a la luz de estas consideraciones, se expondrá el análisis de dos personajes -Frodo Bolsón, tomado del film ¨El Señor de los Anillos¨, y Jack Shephard de la Serie de TV ¨Lost¨-, ambos como soporte de lo desarrollado respecto de la figura del héroe y de las condiciones de identificación. Palabras clave Cine SeriesTV Héroe Identificación ABSTRACT CINEMA AND TV SERIES: THE HEROES TO THE SERVICE OF THE IDENTIFICATIONS Both in the Cinema and in the TV Series, it is possible to conceive the notion of ¨hero¨ differentiated from the notion of ¨superhero¨: while the superhero is compared to the phallus -he is the power itself, and hides any mark that shows something about his own castration-, the figure of the hero not only needs the castration, but also it requires it as presence along the whole heroic adventure of a character, in order to reach the condition of hero. The main hypothesis that orientates the work, says that the previous condition reduces the distance between the spectator and the hero -whose capacities and limitations adjust to those of any human being-, propitiating the area for the emergency of the identification of the public with the figure of the hero. This way, there will be exposed the analysis of two characters -Frodo Baggins taken from the film ¨The Lord of the Rings ¨, and Jack Shephard taken from the TV Series ¨Lost¨-, both characters will be used as example of everything we have developed about the figure of the hero and of the conditions of identification.
