El trabajo retoma la polémica acerca de la traducción del concepto freudiano de Vorstellungsrepräsentanz, en tanto las distintas traducciones implican nociones disímiles respecto de qué se reprime, cómo concebimos al sujeto del inconsciente y por lo tanto en qué consiste la interpretación en la práctica analítica. Los términos unbewusste Vorstellungen, estaban preñados de una larga historia en la psicología alemana antes de ser utilizados por Freud, lo que instila el problema de la representación en su teoría. Aquí, siguiendo algunas orientaciones de Lacan, apuntamos a lo que sería una interpretación que prescinda de la representación. Palabras clave Represión Representación Traducción Interpretación ABSTRACT INTERPRETATION AND REPRESENTATION (RIGHT IN LINE WHIT THE TRANSLATION OF VORSTELLUNGSREPRÄSENTANZ) This work gets back to the polemic of the translation of the freudian concept of Vorstellungsrepräsentanz, because the many translations implicate different notions regarding what is repressed, how we conceive the unconscious’ subject, and therefore, what the interpretation in the analytic practice is. The terms unbewusste Vorstellungen, were full of a large history in the german psychology before being used by Freud, which instills the representation problem in his theory.
