El presente trabajo intentará interrogar el modo freudiano de presentar una investigación. Nuestro horizonte no persigue fines históricos sino que intenta ser lectura y acto de retorno a lo que suponemos tienen sus textos de “potencia actual”. Nos interesa la propuesta de Alain Badiou de leer los textos freudianos bajo la ficción de que son nuestros contemporáneos. Con Giorgio Agamben entendemos por contemporáneo aquello que se ocupa, con lectura crítica, con cierto anacronismo y distanciamiento, de un presente respecto del que le es posible leer no solo sus luces sino especialmente sus sombras. Tomaremos como texto testigo del método de indagación freudiana “Inhibición, síntoma y angustia” con el propósito de tomar nota del zigzagueante camino freudiano. Nos detendremos en sus modos de formular los problemas, reconocer obstáculos, delimitar oscuridades, utilizar términos y concepciones que se creían superadas, apelar a lo singular, a su “lógica ambivalente”. Su método analítico permanece en sus textos a la espera de lectores que sigan sirviéndose de ellos al modo en que Lacan planteara su política de retorno a Freud: un retorno que es, paradójicamente, el modo singular de hacer avanzar el psicoanálisis. Our horizon is not to serve historical purposes but to propose a reading and an act of returning to what his texts have of “current power”: We are interested in A. Badiu’s suggestion of reading Freud’s texts under the fiction of their being contemporary to us. Following G. Agamben, by “contemporary” we understand a way of approaching a present, from a critical reading, with certain anachronism and distance, from which it is possible to read not only its lights but specially its shadows. We will consider “Inhibition, symptom and anguish” as a test text of Freud’s research method with the purpose of highlighting Freud’s zigzag procedures. We will look closely at his ways of formulating problems, recognizing obstacles, defining areas of darkness, using terms and conceptions so far considered obsolete, appealing to the singular and to his “ambivalent logic”. His analytic method remains in his texts waiting for the readers to continue using them in the way of Lacan’s policy of returning to Freud: A return that, paradoxically, is the singular way of making psychoanalysis move forward.
