El objetivo del siguiente trabajo es brindar una aproximación a los condicionantes histórico-sociales e individuales que determinan el repertorio de respuestas de los individuos ante situaciones políticas; focalizando particularmente en el desarrollo histórico y político de nuestro país. Este repertorio configura lo que se denomina sujeto político o sujeto de la política. El mismo es entendido como el conjunto de respuestas, cognitivas, valorativas, actitudinales y comportamentales que los individuos desarrollan al enfrentarse ante situaciones políticas. Se desarrollan tres tipos de condicionantes específicos: los sistemas de gobierno, las características psicológicas de la población y los rasgos de los líderes.
