El presente trabajo pretende conocer la relación que existe entre ansiedad y violencia. Se aplicó la prueba IDARE que sirve para medir ansiedad a una muestra de 142 sujetos, de los cuales 108 fueron mujeres y 34 hombres cuya característica principal fue el haber estado en una situación de violencia previa al test, después se intervino a los sujetos con terapia psicológica durante nueve sesiones y se le aplica el re-test. Los resultados arrojaron una disminución significativa en el manejo de la ansiedad rasgo; sin embargo la ansiedad estado se incremento, lo cual refleja que la violencia sin tratamiento incrementa los niveles de ansiedad rasgo, lo cual incrementa el riesgo de somatizaciones patológicas en los sujetos que viven situaciones de violencia. The IDARE test was applied at 142 subjects, which 108 were women and 34 men. The mean characteristic of the participant was having been into a violence situation before the test; and then the person received nine session of psychotherapy and then he was applied the retest. The results manifested a decreased significant on the feature anxiety; however the state anxiety increased, this circumstance revels that the violence without special treatment increase the level of the feature anxiety which increase the risk of physic pathological disorders on the subjects that lives in violent situations.
