Este trabajo es un primer paso hacia el intento de establecer una relación entre teatro y subjetividad. Como hipótesis general, postularía que el teatro es un espacio donde hay producción de subjetividad. Se intenta pensar tanto a la subjetividad como al teatro como campos de problemas conformados por múltiples inscripciones: institucionales, políticas, históricas, deseantes, geográficas, etc. La participación en espacios de creación colectiva y la producción de hechos culturales constituyen espacios de subjetivación en tanto proponen y propician una producción distinta de subjetividad y nuevas formas de habitabilidad del mundo. La producción teatral es una de las múltiples formas humanas de dar sentido a nuestra vida, por eso es producción de subjetividad. Hacer teatro es una manera posible de enunciar preguntas y de intentar responderlas. De ese modo, el teatro participa de la construcción de sentido y de la producción de conocimiento sobre la época. El fenómeno teatral no se termina con lo que ocurre arriba del escenario, también incluye a las múltiples afectaciones y versiones de cada concurrente. El teatro funciona como un disparador, sus efectos no están predeterminados ni podrían tampoco estarlo, sino que entran en el terreno de la indeterminación, de lo imprevisible, del acontecimiento. Palabras clave Teatro Subjetividad Sentido Política ABSTRACT THE TEATHER AND THE SUBJETIVITY PRODUCTION This essay is a first step towards trying to establish a connection between theater and subjetivity. I propose, as a general hypothesis, that there is production of subjetivity in theater. I would like to think of both theater and subjetivity as complex fields, formed by multiple inscriptions: institutional, political, historical, wishings, geographical, etc. Participation in collective creation and production of cultural events constitute fields of subjetivation as they enable and favor the production of a different kind of subjetivity and new ways of living in the world. Theater production is one of the many human ways of bringing sense into our lives; that is why theater production is actually production of subjetivity. Theater allows us to ask questions and also to try to answer them. Thus, theater takes part in “the making of sense” of the world around us and in the creation of knowledge about its era. The theatrical phenomenon does not end on stage, but also includes the affectations and the versions of each member of the audience. Theater acts as a trigger; its effects are not predetermined -nor could they ever be-, instead they merge with the uncertain, the unpredictable and the circumstances around.
