En el presente trabajo me propongo realizar una primera aproximación al conocimiento existente de la ética profesional del/la psicólogo/a en situaciones de emergencia y catástrofe. Con el fin de lograr este objetivo comenzaré realizando un breve recorrido bibliográfico con respecto a los trabajos de investigación que se han realizado al respecto. Luego, expondré cuáles son algunas de las situaciones conflictivas en el trabajo en situaciones de catástrofe y emergencia, en las que se puede poner en juego el criterio ético profesional al momento de tomar decisiones. Este recorrido lo realizaré teniendo en cuenta no solo el quehacer del profesional psicólogo sino también de otras profesiones involucradas con la salud de las personas; como la bioética, medicina y la enfermería. Estas disciplinas servirán de referencia para el presente trabajo, ya que según mi revisión bibliográfica no encontré trabajos abocados específicamente sobre la temática de investigación en psicología. A modo de conclusión considero que sería pertinente ahondar en la necesidad de una formación ética específica para psicólogos/ as que trabajen situaciones de emergencia y catástrofe, así como ocurre en otras profesiones como la medicina y la enfermería. In order to achieve this objective I will begin making a short bibliographic tour in respect of the investigation works which have been made about it. In the next place I will expose some of the conflictives situations at work, in emergencies and disaster situations, which can jeopardize the professional ethical criteria when making decisions. I will make this tour taking into account not only the work of the psychologist professional but also from other professions involved with health of people such as bioethics, medicine and nursing. This disciplines will work as references for the present work, since according to my bibliographic review, there are no works specifically referred on the subject of the research in psychology. Concluding, I think it would be appropriate to delve in the need of a specific ethic education for psychologists who works in emergencies and disaster situations, such as it happens in another jobs, as medicine and nursing.
