El objetivo del trabajo es elucidar la noción de cuerpo en el fenómeno psicosomático desde la orientación lacaniana. La metodología con la que se trabajará será de revisión bibliográfica. En relación a lo psicosomático se hace alusión a procesos psíquicos que tienen referencia al cuerpo, visión que deriva del término psicosomático (del griego “psyche”= alma y “soma”= cuerpo). La medicina psicosomática plantea que hay un equilibrio entre lo psíquico y lo somático, perspectiva asentada en la división cartesiana entre res- extensa y res- pensante, donde el cuerpo habita la categoría de objeto perteneciente al dominio de la física y la mente, al del alma. Sin tener lo psicosomático una causalidad orgánica, no se encuentra tampoco una causalidad psíquica. Se plantea desde el psicoanálisis un tercer factor que refiere a la especificidad del ser hablante, no restringiendo el cuerpo a su imagen especular sino intentando dilucidar su articulación simbólica, es lo que Freud llamó pulsión. Se puede pensar que el fenómeno psicosomático no sería una intromisión de lo psíquico en lo corporal, sino más bien, una inferencia del cuerpo pulsional en el biológico. Palabras clave Cuerpo, Psicosomático, Pulsión, Psicoanálisis ABSTRACT CONSIDERATIONS PSYCHOSOMATIC PHENOMENON The purpose of this paper is to elucidate the notion of body in the psychosomatic phenomenon from the Lacanian orientation. The methodology to be used will be literature review. The term psychosomatic refers to psychic processes which have the body as reference, view which derives from the term psychosomatic (from Greek “psyche”= soul and “soma”= body). Psychosomatic medicine explains that there is a balance between what is psychic and what is somatic, perspective based on the Cartesian dualism between res extensa and res cogitans, where body falls into the category of object belonging to the domain of physics, and the mind to the domain of the soul. The psychosomatic neither has an organic causation nor a psychic causation. Psychoanalysis also considers a third factor referring to the specificity of the speaking body, not restricting the body to its mirror image, but attempting at elucidating its symbolic articulation, which Freud called drive theory. It can be considered that the psychosomatic phenomenon would not be the psychic world interfering in the corporeal world, but rather, the drive body affecting the biological body.
