Pues a causa de la adquisición de riquezas se originan todas las guerras, y nos vemos forzados adquirirlas por el cuerpo, siendo esclavos de sus cuidados. Por eso no tenemos tiempo libre para la filosofía, con todas esas cosas suyas. Pero el colmo de todo es que, si nos queda algún tiempo libre de sus cuidados y nos dedicamos a observar algo, inmiscuyéndose de nuevo en nuestras investigaciones nos causa alboroto y confusión, y nos perturba de tal modo que por él no somos capaces de contemplar la verdad”. It fulfills us with love and wishes, fears and ghosts of any kind, and with a huge triviality, so … how truly is the saying that in fact it had been impossible to mediate anything with him! That´s why, in effect, wars, riots and battles are not originated by anybody apart from the body and its wishes. Because of the cause of acquisition of riches, all the wars are originated, and we are forced to acquire them for the body, being slaves of its cares.That´s the reason why we haven´t got enough time for the philosophy, with all of its things. But, if we are lucky enough to have some leisure time for its cares and we dedicate ourselves to look at something, interfering again in our investigations, it causes us racket and confusion, and it disturbs us, so that and because of him, we are not able to consider the truth´ (Platón- Fedón, 66 b-d) Key words Trieb, Knowledge, Body, Truth
