Este artículo tiene por objetivo presentar algunas contribuciones de la psicoanalista inglesa Marion Milner, cuyas ideas e insights ampliaron el ámbito del tema de la creatividad en el psicoanálisis. Su obra enfatiza la Creatividad en el favorecimiento del crecimiento psíquico, tanto del paciente cuanto del analista. Veremos que es posible encontrar correspondencias significativas entre su pensamiento y el pensamiento de D. W. Winnicott, especialmente en lo que se refiere al rol de la ilusión. En Milner, el imaginario, las fantasías y la producción de imágenes tienen dimensiones extremamente significativas y profundas en la capacidad simbólica del ser humano y son sumamente importantes en la constitución del self, trayendo aun nuevas perspectivas para el quehacer clínico. Palabras clave Marion Milner, Creatividad, Winnicott, Ilusión, Capacidad simbólica ABSTRACT CONTRIBUTIONS OF MARION MILNER TO THE NOTION OF CREATIVITY IN PSICHOANALYSIS This article aims to present the contributions of the British psychoanalyst Marion Milner, whose ideas and insights broadened considerably the scope of creativity in psychoanalysis. Her work emphasizes the creativity in favor of psychic growth of both patient and analyst. We will see that it is possible to find significant correspondence between her thought and the thought of D. W. Winnicott, especially the role of illusion. In Milner imaginary, fantasies and image production have extremely significant and profound dimensions in the symbolic capacity of individual and are extremely important in the constitution of the self.
