El siguiente trabajo tiene por objetivo investigar el estatuto peculiar de un recuerdo que presenta un analizante en el curso de su tratamiento. Este fenómeno interesa porque interroga la modalidad de retorno: ¿se trata de algo que estuvo reprimido y adviene a la conciencia o más bien da cuenta de trazas que no necesariamente se ajustan al entramado significante? Para avanzar en la formalización del estatuto de este fenómeno se trabajará desde Freud con referencias bibliográficas como el proyecto, el yo y ello, entre otros. Con Lacan, teniendo como telón de fondo el escrito Lituraterra se investigará la posible relación entre este recuerdo y la noción de letra que autor allí desarrolla.
