Se evalúan y comparan criterios conductuales, psicomotores y cognoscitivos entre bebés hasta 36 meses de edad abusados sexualmente y bebés no abusados, y el estilo de apego de sus progenitores y los procesos recíprocos sobre la base de dos modelos teóricos: apego y piagetiano. El estudio es del tipo exploratorio y descriptivo - correlacional. La muestra es no probabilística y seleccionada en forma intencional. Participaron 13 bebés, entre 8 y 36 meses de edad, que fueron víctimas de abuso sexual infantil, y 33 bebés no abusados sexualmente del mismo rango de edad de los cuales 13 de ellos fueron apareados en todas las variables demográficas relevantes. Los instrumentos que se aplican son: Anamnesis y Escala Argentina de Los Estilos de Apego (en los cuidadores); y Observación del Vínculo Madre-Bebé, La Escala Argentina de Inteligencia Sensorio-Motriz, Prueba Nacional de Pesquisa y Situación Extraña (en los bebés). Los resultados arrojan indicadores en los niños abusados sexualmente, a diferencia de los no abusados, en cuanto al estilo de apego parental, a las pautas conductuales y en el desarrollo cognoscitivo-psicomotor. Estos indicadores diferenciales pueden contribuir en la prevención y en una aproximación diagnóstica de sospecha de riesgo potencial de abuso sexual en la primera infancia. The results show indicators in sexually abused children, not unlike the abused, in terms of style of parental attachment patterns to behavioral and cognitive-psychomotor development.
