Este escrito se inscribe en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación “En camino a la Universidad. Desafíos actuales en la Transición Escuela Media-Estudios Superiores, dependiente de la Secretaria de Ciencia, Arte e Innovación Tecnológica, de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (UNT). Castoriadis (1998) define al imaginario como esa capacidad de investir objetos imperceptibles, socialmente instituidos, que tienen existencia social, y sentido psíquico, de encontrar en ellas placer. Se propone explorar las significaciones subjetivas que los/las ingresantes a Psicología (UNT) le asignan a la virtualidad y en la cual la Universidad se considera el contexto y espacio institucional en donde los/as estudiantes aspiran a concretar sus deseos y proyectos futuros. A partir de un enfoque metodológico-cualitativo se administró una Encuesta con preguntas abiertas a alumnos/as que cursaron la asignatura Integración Universitaria durante el año 2021. Los resultados indican que los estudiantes han construido representaciones sobre la virtualidad organizadas alrededor de dos ejes de análisis: Las potencialidades y las dificultades. Se concluye que conocer desde sus discursos cómo operan los nuevos contenidos, harían posible generar estrategias que permitan intervenir y transformar esas significaciones que podrían obturar la concreción de sus proyectos y así facilitar su inclusión y permanencia en la Universidad. Palabras clave Imaginario - Virtualidad - Ingreso - Universidad ABSTRACT THE IMAGINARY CONSTRUCTIONS ON VIRTUALITY IN THE ADMISSION TO PSYCHOLOGY OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TUCUMÁN This writing is part of the Research Project “On the way to the University. Current challenges in the Transition Middle SchoolHigher Studies, dependent on the Secretary of Science, Art and Technological Innovation, of the National University of Tucumán (UNT). Castoriadis (1998) defines the imaginary as that ability to invest imperceptible, socially instituted objects that have a social existence and a psychic sense of finding pleasure in them. It is proposed to explore the subjective meanings that newcomers to Psychology (UNT) assign to virtuality and in which the University is considered the context and institutional space where students aspire to realize their wishes and future projects. From a methodological-qualitative approach, a Survey with open questions was administered to students who took the University Integration course during the year 2021. The results indicate that students have constructed representations about virtuality organized around two axes of analysis: The potentialities and the difficulties. It is concluded that knowing from their speeches how the new contents operate, would make it possible to generate strategies that allow to intervene and transform those meanings that could block the realization of their projects and thus facilitate their inclusion and permanence in the University.
