Durante el segundo semestre del 2020, se realizó una investigación en dos instituciones que trabajan con proyectos de interculturalidad en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. El objetivo fue conocer cómo desarrollan el trabajo con población migrante y desde qué perspectiva parten. El marco teórico destaca la utilización del término interculturalidad en función de su dinamismo, señalando diferencias jerárquicas existentes entre culturas. También se parte de los estudios socio-históricos contemporáneos de la teoría de la actividad. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo/ exploratorio; cuya metodología consiste en entrevistas semiestructuradas, y la utilización del cuestionario de situación problema, que permite acceder a un conocimiento de los modelos mentales situacionales (MMS) del agente que lo responde. Las personas que formaron parte de la investigación pertenecen a dos instituciones diferentes (ELSI, Nicolás Avellaneda). El trabajo se realizó de manera virtual, dadas las condiciones contextuales. Se concluye que el modo de trabajo con población migrante es desarticulado, lo que puede ser atribuido a perspectivas distintas sobre la interculturalidad, al modo de intervención, a los recursos disponibles para el trabajo, y/o a la falta de formación académica al respecto, entre otros. Por último, se presentan algunas propuestas que permitan articular el trabajo de las dos instituciones abordadas, dejando abiertas algunas líneas de investigación/intervención. Palabras clave Educación Intercultural - Sistemas de Actividad - Aprendizaje Expansivo - Educación pública en CABA ABSTRACT EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS IN INTERCULTURAL SETTINGS IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES During the second semester of 2020, we carried out an investigation in two institutions that work with intercultural projects in the City of Buenos Aires, with the intention of knowing how do they work with the migrant population, and from which perspective, in relation to the concept of interculturality, they positioned themselves to carry out their work. The theoretical framework with which we align our research highlights the use of the term interculturality based on its dynamism, pointing out the hierarchical difference existing between different cultures. We also framed the research within the contemporary socio-historical studies of the activity theory. Ours is a descriptive-exploratory study and the methodology used consists of semi-structured virtually interviews. The people who took part in the research belong to two different institutions (ELSI and Nicolás Avellaneda School). Articulating the obtained data, an attempt was made to account for how these two institutions work, taken as two activity systems of Engeström’s activity theory. The analysis of the results allowed us to conclude that there is a disarticulation in the way of working with the migrant population, which can be attributed to different perspectives in relation to interculturality, their way of intervening, the resources available for work, the lack of academic training in this topic, among others.
