El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar la posible relación entre el Bienestar Psicológico y el riesgo de consumo problemático alcohol en una población de estudiantes secundarios. Para esto se tomó como fuente de datos un estudio realizado por este equipo de investigación, que tuvo como objetivo describir y caracterizar la magnitud y los patrones de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y factores asociados entre los estudiantes de enseñanza media de Las Varillas, mediante una encuesta auto administrada a 746 estudiantes. Los datos presentados muestran que la respuesta a la pregunta guía de esta ponencia es que existe relación entre el bienestar psicológico y el riesgo de consumo problemático de alcohol. Esta relación se ve afectada significativamente por la edad de los jóvenes, no se encontraron diferencias significativas basadas en el sexo de los jóvenes. A self-administered survey was conducted with 746 students. The presented data indicate that the answer to the guiding question of this paper is that there is a relationship between psychological well-being and the risk of problematic alcohol consumption. This relationship is significantly influenced by the age of the youth, and no significant differences were found based on the gender of the youth.
