En este trabajo consignamos el modo de construir una variable y delimitar una hipótesis referida a la noción de “horror al saber”. Respecto de ella, hemos detectado los siguientes interrogantes que permanecen aún abiertos: Qué entendemos por la formulación “horror al saber” y cuáles son las similitudes y diferencias entre las concepciones Freudiana y Lacaniana de la misma. Cómo se articula la aptitud neurótica de transferir un saber sobre el analista con el rechazo a acceder al mismo. Existe allí una contradicción o, por el contrario, el mencionado afecto de horror constituye un rechazo al saber que se refugia en la creencia de un saber completo que reside en el Otro. Estas son algunas de las preguntas que nos proponemos abordar por medio de la presente propuesta de investigación. En particular, en este breve artículo damos cuenta de la construcción de una variable y el análisis de una de las hipótesis de nuestro proyecto de investigación sobre la noción de horror al saber y sus manifestaciones clínicas. Palabras clave Horror al saber - Transferencia - Variable - Hipótesis ABSTRACT THE HORROR OF TRANSFERENTIAL KNOWLEDGE In this paper we have consigned the way to construct a variable and to delimit a hypothesis referred to the notion of “horror of knowing”. With respect to it, we have detected the following questions that remain open: What do we understand by the formulation “horror of knowing” and what are the similarities and differences between the Freudian and Lacanian conceptions of it. How does the neurotic aptitude to transfer a knowledge about the analyst articulate with the refusal to access it: is there a contradiction or, on the contrary, does the mentioned horror effect constitute a refusal to know that takes refuge in the belief of a complete knowledge that resides in the Other? These are some of the questions that we propose to address through the present research proposal. In particular, in this brief article we give an account of the construction of a variable and the analysis of one of the hypotheses of our research project on the notion of horror of knowing and its clinical manifestations.
