En el presente escrito localizamos las coordenadas que hacen a la conformación adolescente entre testimonio, síntoma y deseo en el caso del escritor francés André Gide. Tomamos como referencia el texto inaugural de Lacan sobre este autor y a partir de dicho punto trazamos tres ejes en torno de los que se desarrolla la producción testimonial, conjuntamente a la configuración del mito y la estructuración del síntoma. A partir de allí podemos extraer un saber útil para la clínica psicoanalítica en lo referente a las categorías mencionadas. Con la política del saber que enseña el arte en contraposición a la aplicación del psicoanálisis a la obra del artista, nuestro trabajo se sostiene en los reductos subjetivos y las respuestas con las que este adolescente estructura su realidad psíquica. TESTIMONY BETWEEN SYMPTOM AND DESIRE In the present writing we locate the coordinates that make up the adolescent conformation between testimony, symptom and desire in the case of the French writer André Gide. We take Lacan’s inaugural text on this author as a reference and from that point we trace three axes around which the testimonial production develops, together with the configuration of the myth and the structuring of the symptom. From there we can extract useful knowledge for the psychoanalytic clinic in relation to the aforementioned categories. With the politics of knowledge that art teaches as opposed to the application of psychoanalysis to the artist’s work, our work is sustained in the subjective redoubts and responses with which this adolescent structures his psychic reality.
