Esta ponencia presenta resultados parciales de la investigación “Modalidades de liderazgo en los Nuevos Movimientos Sociales que resisten la exclusión en la Argentina: tensiones entre las reivindicaciones y la política”, cuyos objetivos generales son identificar tipos de liderazgo y comparar distintos movimientos sociales que resisten la exclusión en Argentina. Los resultados que se muestran corresponden al primero de los objetivos generales -identificar modalidades de liderazgo- en relación con un caso incorporado recientemente: las Organizaciones Libres del Pueblo (OLP). A partir de delimitar una concepción de autoridad -que excluye la fuerza y siempre es legítima, pues no existiría de no ser reconocida- y sus distintos tipos, se analizan los principales rasgos de uno de los fundadores, quien, a pesar de haber fallecido en 2005, hoy sigue siendo su mentor. Para ello, se categorizaron algunos enunciados que dan cuenta de la visión de los otros con quienes ser relacionaba y que están referidos a los rasgos preponderantes del líder, para realizar un análisis de contenido y vincularlo con dos tipos de Autoridad: la del Padre y la del Jefe. Palabras clave Liderazgo autoridad - Reconocimiento - Organización - Legi- timidad ABSTRACT LEDERSHIPS IN THE SOCIAL MOVEMENTS THAT RESIST THE EXCLUSION IN ARGENTINA This report presents partial results of “Modalities of leadership in the New Social Movements that resist the exclusion in Argentine: tensions between vindications and politic” investigation, whose general objectives are indentify types of leadership and to compare different social movements that resist the exclusion in Argentine. The results that are showed correspond to the first of the general objectives -to identify leadership modalities-in relation to a recently incorporated case: the Free People’s Organizations (FPO). Starting from defining a conception of authority -which excludes force and is always legitimate, since it would not exist if it were not recognized- and its different types, the main features of one of the founders are analyzed, who, despite having died in 2005, today he is still his mentor. For this, some statements were categorized that give account of the vision of the others with whom to be related and that are referred to the preponderant features of the leader, to carry out a content analysis and link it with two types of Authority: that of the Father and the of the Boss.
