Este trabajo surge de la información obtenida a partir de las actividades de capacitación dirigidas a profesionales de salud del Municipio de Avellaneda, Provincia de Buenos Aires realizadas en el marco del Proyecto “La mortalidad materna y los servicios de salud y justicia: un abordaje interdisciplinario de la salud de las mujeres y el acceso a la interrupción legal del embarazo”, financiado por el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación en la Convocatoria “Universidad, Cultura y Sociedad 2017”. El estudio tuvo como objetivo general dilucidar las estrategias de acción implementadas por las profesionales de salud de las consejerías de Salud Sexual y Salud (No)Reproductiva del Municipio de Avellaneda para garantizar el acceso a la Interrupción Legal del Embarazo. La metodología de la investigación responde a un enfoque cualitativo con un diseño transversal de tipo exploratorio-descriptivo. En función del análisis realizado se destacan como principales obstáculos el desconocimiento por parte de las usuarias del procedimiento en interrupción así como la falta de recursos en los servicios de salud del sistema público. Como principales estrategias se identifican la formación de redes interpersonales de profesionales “amigables” así como el seguimiento permanente tanto telefónico como presencial de las personas gestantes. Palabras clave ILE - Estrategias - Obstáculos - Consejerías ABSTRACT ACCESS TO THE LEGAL TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY IN AVELLANEDA: OBSTACLES AND STRATEGIES This work is the result of the information obtained from the training activities aimed at health professionals from the Municipality of Avellaneda, Province of Buenos Aires carried out within the framework of the Project “Maternal mortality and health and justice services: an interdisciplinary approach of women’s health and access to the legal termination of pregnancy ”, financed by the Ministry of Education of the Nation in the Call “University, Culture and Society 2017”. The main goal of the study was to elucidate the action strategies implemented by the health professionals of the departments of Sexual Health and (Non) Reproductive Health of the Municipality of Avellaneda to guarantee access to the Legal Termination of Pregnancy (LTP). The research methodology responded to a qualitative approach with an exploratory-descriptive cross-sectional design. Based on the analysis carried out, the main obstacles are the lack of knowledge of the users about the termination procedure, as well as the lack of resources in the health services of the public system. The main strategies are the development of interpersonal networks of “friendly” professionals as well as the permanent follow-up of pregnant people, both by telephone and in person.
