Esta comunicación constituye un aspecto parcial del recorrido realizado en el desarrollo de la Tesis Doctoral “El problema del ideal del yo-superyó de la mujer y su incidencia en la estructuración de la subjetividad femenina en la obra de Freud. Análisis de las transformaciones operadas entre estas conceptualizaciones y las elaboradas por autores psicoanalíticos que articulan la perspectiva de género”. El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar en particular el estatuto teórico del superyó en “El malestar en la cultura” (1930 [1929]). Se trata de identificar las principales modificaciones que Freud plantea en cuanto a la constitución, características y alcances de esta estructura en el psiquismo. El superyó recoge mediante la identificación, los mandatos de la sociedad y asegura su cumplimiento o en su defecto el castigo. La imagen que lo presenta como co-mandante visibiliza la incidencia y la conexión de esta estructura con los objetos externos. Los mecanismos de poder de la cultura se introyectan en el psiquismo, así se transforma una coerción externa en interna. Se advierte una mayor articulación entre la incidencia del contexto social y la formación del superyó, ya que relativiza su carácter endógeno en tanto derivado de la pulsión de muerte. SOME POINTS ON THE EXPANSION OF THE STRUCTURAL MODEL This communication constitutes a partial aspect of the journey carried out in the development of the Doctoral Thesis “The problem of the ideal of the ego-superego of women and its incidence in the structuring of female subjectivity in Freud’s work. Analysis of the transformations carried out between these conceptualizations and those elaborated by psychoanalytic authors who articulate the gender perspective”. The objective of this article is to analyze the theoretical status of the superego in “El discomfort en la cultura” (1930 [1929]). The aim is to identify the main modifications that Freud raises regarding the constitution, characteristics and scope of this structure in the psyche. The superego collects by means of identification, the mandates of the society and ensures its fulfillment or, failing that, the punishment. The image that presents him as co-principal makes visible the impact and connection of this structure with external objects. The power mechanisms of culture are introjected into the psyche, thus transforming an external coercion into an internal one. There is a greater articulation between the incidence of the social context and the formation of the superego, since it relativizes its endogenous character as derived from the death drive.
