La noción de Seguridad suele asociarse al proceso mediante el cual se pretende proteger el orden civil de toda causa de potencial delito o violencia que pudiere afectar a la comunidad con el fin de mejorar la calidad de vida de la población. Es decir, la Seguridad es una acción comunitaria para prevenir la criminalidad. El presente trabajo tiene como fin analizar si hubo modificaciones en la noción de seguridad en artículos de prensa escrita de la editorial del diario “La Nación”. A tal fin, se pretende analizar el material periodístico a través del Análisis Crítico del Discurso, al cual entenderemos como un tipo de investigación analítica sobre el discurso que estudia el modo en que el abuso del poder social, el dominio y la desigualdad son reproducidos, y ocasionalmente combatidos, por las prácticas discursivas (VAN DIJK, 1999). Como resultado de dicho análisis se puede afirmar que en el transcurso de tiempo que media entre la primer y última nota editorial analizada (Febrero - Junio de 2020) la noción de seguridad, vinculado al bien que debe ser cuidado, tuvo diversas modificaciones, pasando la noción de seguridad a asociarse a distintos valores según fue sucediendo el proceso de pandemia y posterior cuarentena. Palabras clave Seguridad - Prensa escrita - Pandemia - Análisis de discurso ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF THE NOTION OF SECURITY IN THE WRITTEN PRESS DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC IN ARGENTINA The notion of Security is usually associated with the process by which it is intended to protect civil order from any cause of potential crime or violence that may affect the community in order to improve the quality of life of the population.In other words, security is a community action to prevent crime. The purpose of this work is to analyze whether there were changes in the notion of security in articles in the written press of the editorial of the newspaper “La Nación”. To this end, it is intended to analyze journalistic material through Critical Discourse Analysis, which we will understand as a type of analytical research on discourse that studies the way in which the abuse of social power, dominance and inequality are reproduced, and occasionally combated, by discursive practices(VAN DIJK, 1999). As a result of this analysis, it can be affirmed that in the time that elapses between the first and last editorial note analyzed (February - June 2020) the notion of security, linked to the good that must be taken care of, had various modifications, passing the notion of security to be associated with different values according to the process of pandemic and subsequent quarantine.
