Tomando como punto de partida las conclusiones preliminares y definitivas de investigaciones anteriores, este artículo retomará la función del testimonio literario en víctimas directas e indirectas del terrorismo de Estado en tanto vía suplementaria al testimonio en sede judicial. Así, este tipo de narración sobre el horror, propiciada por el testimonio literario, será abordada desde la novela “Villa”, de Luis Gusmán, para profundizar un interrogante respecto de la responsabilidad subjetiva en la obediencia. Con este objetivo se abordan conceptualizaciones de Hannah Arendt, Contardo Calligaris y Zygmunt Bauman para problematizar también el estatuto de la complicidad en el contexto de la última dictadura militar en la Argentina. La novela de Gusmán nos deja con la certeza incómoda de que cualquier ciudadano, incluso un médico responsable, puede llegar a cometer crímenes atroces bajo determinadas circunstancias, y este artículo retoma algunas de las hipótesis clínicas y derivaciones teóricas que de allí pueden extraerse. Palabras clave Testimonio literario - Complicidad - Dictadura - Responsabilidad ABSTRACT THE DESIGNMENT OF A COMPLICIT COWARD: LITERATURE AND STATE TERRORISM Considering preliminary and definitive conclusions of previous researches, this article will return to the role and the function of the literary testimony in direct and indirect victims of State terrorism as a supplementary way to testimony in court. Thus, this type of narration about horror, bridged to us by literary testimony, will be approached from the novel “Villa” by Luis Gusmán, to enable us to reconsider a question about subjective responsibility in obedience. With this main objective, we will consider the theorical contributions of Hannah Arendt, Contardo Calligaris and Zygmunt Bauman to problematize the status of complicity in the context of the last dictatorship in Argentina. Gusman´s novel leaves us with the uneasy certainty that any citizen, even a responsible doctor, can commit atrocious crimes under certain circumstances, and this article takes up some of the clinical hypotheses and theoretical derivations that can be extracted from such act.
