Thus, based on the historical-salvific orientation, the article focuses on the messianic self-awareness of Jesus of Nazareth as Ebed Yahweh, in a process that ends the baptism of John the Baptist as an eschatological event that implies the correlation between the “lamb of God” and Ebed Yahweh, underlining that Ebed Yahweh and Messiah carry both, under the aegis of Judaism, the mission involving the restoration of the relationship based on the alliance established between Yahweh and his people, converging to a literary-theological construction that contains as determining aspects substitution and alliance in a movement that points out that the Ebed Yahweh consists of the very berît in person.
