Resumen
This article presents the results of a qualitative approach to “La Semana de la Música” (SM); annual academic action in which conferences, exhibitions, concerts and master classes are offered to strengthen learning, hand in hand with the Institutional Educational Model of the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (MEI, 2006), which places students as the central axis of education and integrates them into the knowledge society of the 21st century so that they actively participate in a social change towards a more humane and just world that respects nature. During a research seminar, music undergraduate students set out to find out how SM contributes to this institutional goal.
