Los conceptos fundamentales del Psicoanálisis han sufrido modificaciones, desde sus inicios; y por ende el modo de pensar la clínica psicoanalítica. Así el inconsciente, noción central del Psicoanálisis no escapa a este dinamismo. El presente escrito recorta dos momentos en la enseñanza de Jacques Lacan, donde pueden leerse sus conceptualizaciones del inconsciente y con ellas la posición del analista.A partir de estas versiones se exploran los diversos modos de pensar la clínica psicoanalítica, según la teorización en juego. Con tal objetivo, se considerarán los aportes del Seminario XI, seminario posterior a la introducción de su invención-el objeto a-en tanto se sostiene que la introducción de este concepto le permite repensar el inconsciente. Y, por otra parte, se examinarán algunos aportes de la enseñanza de Lacan de los años 70 entendiendo que la sexuación y las nociones de topología le permiten pensar Otroinconsciente.
